Women, Witches, and the Power of Community with Heather Wolf
Women, Witches, and the Power of Community with Heather Wolf
Description:
Tune into the newest episode of our Energy Works Podcast, where science meets spirit to help you heal, energize, and thrive.
Why can it sometimes feel so hard for women to fully support other women?
Lauren met Heather Wolf at Hollyhock, where she experienced Heather’s True Voice session firsthand. That meeting led to this conversation about women, competition, belonging, and what changes when we stop believing there isn’t enough to go around.
Lauren and Heather talk about the ways women have learned to hold back their voices, mistrust one another, or make themselves smaller, sometimes without even realizing they’re doing it. They also explore what it means to support another woman’s success without feeling it takes something away from your own.
Then the conversation takes an interesting turn: witches.
Heather shares why she created a program called Witching Ways, what the word “witch” means to her, and why reclaiming it can open a much bigger conversation about intuition, the body, power, and our connection to older traditions.
They also discuss the responsibility that comes with drawing from traditions that aren’t our own and what it can look like when women choose to show up for one another in a different way.
It’s a conversation about finding your voice, trusting what you know, and making more room for other women to do the same.

It’s interesting how stories about women, witches, and community can explore themes of connection, independence, and shared strength. The idea of bringing people together through common experiences and traditions is especially meaningful, since a strong sense of community can make a real difference in how people support one another.

I also like when conversations like this look beyond the usual stereotypes surrounding witches and explore their place in history, culture, and modern life. There’s often much more to these subjects than people initially expect.
Sounds like a thoughtful discussion with plenty of interesting perspectives to explore.
One of the most useful features of typing practice is the real-time WPM display, which lets users see how quickly they type without waiting until the end of a session. This immediate feedback makes every practice round more engaging because users can track their pace as they progress. It also helps them recognize improvements and stay motivated to reach higher typing speeds.
What a rich conversation — the thread from women holding back their voices to reclaiming "witch" as a word about intuition, body, and power feels so timely. I especially appreciate the honesty about competition and scarcity, and the reminder that supporting another woman's success doesn't take anything away from your own. The chapter on rethinking lineage and the responsibility of drawing from traditions that aren't our own sounds like essential listening. Adding this to my queue!
